The 2025 4th SDG Asia Expo Prac ce Forum and Award Ceremony took place on October 28 at the NTUH Interna onal Conven on Center. With the theme “New Trends in Sustainability: From Decarboniza on to Net Zero”, the event convened more than one hundred representa ves from leading companies, government agencies, and academia.
The 21st Cross-Strait Forum on Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Development was successfully held on September 19, 2025, attracting over 550 participants— including 150 onsite attendees and 207 online registrants from Taiwan, as well as more than 200 participants from mainland China.
At the heart of the 2025 5th SDG Asia Expo, the International Forum stage on September 13 became a spotlight for a new genera on of sustainability leaders. The Certification Ceremony, hosted by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), gathered government officials, corporate executives and trained professionals, sending a strong message to the world: in Taiwan, sustainability talent is no longer supplementary — it is the backbone of transformation.
The 2025 Asia-Pacific Sustainability Ac on Awards (APSAA) and the Taiwan Sustainability Ac on Awards (TSAA) were presented on September 11 during the 4th SDG Asia Expo. Using the United Nations 17 SDGs as a shared language, the awards highlight a full spectrum of sustainability actions across government, industry, academia, and social organizations.
The Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) hosted its 15th annual Climate Change Painting Competition to encourage elementary and middle school students to pay attention to climate change and sustainable development issues through art. This year's theme was "Paint the Sea, Protect Its Beauty", and called on children to start with the ocean and use their brushes to protect our future. The competition attracted more than 6,000 people from 21 countries.
The award ceremony for the 2024 Climate Change Painting Competition, hosted by TAISE, was held on July 20th. The judges encouraged the students to utilize the knowledge and practical applications learned from this competition to protect our planet's future. The winning students are all looking forward to using their paintings as a call for more people to take better care of the health of Earth and mankind.
